Schoeneweide spring rail festival 1

On the weekend of 14/15th of april 2012, we had our spring rail festival in Berlin-Schöneweide. I took this picture in the evening of the 15th. From left to right, you can see:

- a fireless steam engine. Used as shunter in industries, where 1. steam is a sideproduct or 2. fired engines (also diesel) are too dangerous (for example in chemistry industries). This one was in service at a power plant.

- A shunter of the type "Kö"

- a V180 series of Wedler&Franz Lokomotivdienstleistungen [link]

- 52 6666. This engine is a old-built-locomotive of the 52 series and was also in the GDR a trafitional locomotive. Some main differences to more modern 52s, reconstructed in the GDR are the combustion chamber, the boiler and the mixing preheater (which you can see on the next loco in front of the chimney)

- 52 8173-8. A reconstructed 52 series, used as spare part depot for our 52 in service.

- 74 1230. A prussian T 11(?), used as commuter train loco in Berlin until these were electrified in the 20ies.
